Howard & Morris are a Christchurch based design and consultancy practice with a reputation for producing superb gardens. Company principals, Bill Howard and Marion Morris, pride themselves on their ability to provide clients with professionally designed gardens of the very highest standards. Although primarily servicing the North Canterbury area, Howard & Morris are happy to consult across New Zealand.

With diverse skills and experience, Bill and Marion are able to offer a range of garden design services to clients. Marion Morris is a widely respected New Zealand garden consultant. She is an expert gardener, inspirational in her plant selection and gifted with a sharp sense of good style. Marion can provide verbal and written advice on garden development and for many years has created gardens in both North and South Island New Zealand. She is an assessor for the New Zealand Gardens Trust and can give advice to those interested in putting their gardens forward for inclusion in the National Garden Register.

Bill Howard has designed gardens in Britain, Europe and New Zealand. He has considerable knowledge in plants and plant care, creative pruning techniques and eye for form and style. Bill regularly exhibited at the Royal Horticultural Society Shows, including the Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court where he helped create and was involved in a number of award winning exhibits. Bill has worked for the internationally renowned nursery, Blooms of Bressingham, he is a Certified Arborist of the International Society of Arboriculture and a member of the UK Institute of Horticulture.
